Twinkie Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 yellow Pillsbury Plus cake mix
    5 Tbsp. plain flour
    1 c. milk
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. margarine
    1/2 c. Crisco
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Prepare
    care
    as
    directed on package.
    Bake in a 13 x 9-inch pan.
    Remove from pan and place in freezer for 1 hour. Remove from
    freezer
    and
    split
    in half lengthwise, using a large knife or dental floss.
    Mix well the 5 tablespoons flour and
    milk. Cook
    until
    thick;
    set aside and cool.
    Then mix well
    the sugar, margarine, Crisco, salt and vanilla and beat at high speed of mixer until light and fluffy.
    Spread between cake layers.
    You may top cake with Cool Whip if desired.
