La Louisianne Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 medium potatoes (red)
    1 (12 oz.) carton sour cream with chives
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1 can Cheddar cheese soup (undiluted)
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. coarsely ground black pepper
    1/2 lb. bacon, fried, drained and crumbled
    1 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Peel and cut up potatoes.
    Boil in salted water until tender; drain and turn into large mixing bowl.
    Mash and beat (with electric mixer) potatoes, sour cream, nutmeg, salt and pepper and butter.
    Pour into butter-greased 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
    Stir soup until smooth and spread over top of potatoes.
    Sprinkle with crumbled bacon.
    Bake 15 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Serves 12.
