Parmesan Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
1 beef sirloin steak (about 4 lb.), cut 2-inches thick
1/3 c. bottled Italian salad dressing
    1/3 c. grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation
Trim any excess fat from steak; slash remaining fat edge to prevent curling.
Place steak in large shallow dish.
    Pour salad dressing over top.
Let stand 2 to 3 hours at room temperature. When ready to cook, preheat broiler.
Place steak on rack in broiler pan.
Brush dressing from dish on top.
Broil 8 inches from heat for 15 minutes.
    Turn; broil 10 minutes.
Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top; broil 5 minutes for rare meat, or until steak is done.
Remove to cutting board; carve into 1/4-inch thick slices. Makes 8 servings.
