Sandbag Oven Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 to 2 lb. lean stew meat
    quartered potatoes
    quartered carrots
    1 can beef consomme
    1/2 can water
    8 oz. tomato juice
    3 Tbsp. tapioca
    1 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    Place ingredients in Dutch oven.
    Mix well and cover.
    Cook in a 250\u00b0 oven for 6 to 8 hours.
    Don't open until ready!
