Marinated Mushrooms - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. tarragon vinegar
    1/2 c. oil
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder
    1 tsp. sugar
    2 Tbsp. water
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    dash of Tabasco sauce
    1 medium onion
    1 lb. fresh mushrooms
Preparation
    Combine first 8 ingredients. Slice onion and separate rings. Clean and remove stems from mushrooms. Add onion rings and mushrooms to marinade. Cover and refrigerate for 8 hours or overnight.
    Drain and serve with toothpicks.
