Frozen Cheese Torte - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. Knox gelatine
    1/2 c. cold water
    3 egg yolks
    1/2 Tbsp. salt
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. milk
    1 lb. Baker's dry cottage cheese
    1/2 Tbsp. vanilla
    3 egg whites, stiffly beaten
    1 pt. whipping cream, beaten
Preparation
    Dissolve gelatine in cold water.
    Beat egg yolks; add salt, sugar and milk.
    Cook in double boiler about 20 minutes.
    Add gelatine to custard mixture.
