Mother'S Best Lima Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large pkg. baby lima beans
    5 stalks celery, cut fine
    1 onion, chopped
    1 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced
    1 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 lb. butter
    1/2 c. cream (half and half or coffee cream)
    salt and pepper
    nutmeg, if you wish
Preparation
    Cook beans to directions.
    Reserve liquid and set aside. Saute celery, onion and mushrooms in butter; add flour and seasonings.
    Stir until mixed in well, add cream and simmer. Fold in beans (if too dry, some of reserved liquid may be added). Serve.
