Hot Mustard Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. onions
    1 qt. green tomatoes
    1 qt. cabbage
    1 c. hot peppers
    1/4 c. salt
    1 qt. white vinegar
    3 c. sugar
    1 c. flour
    6 Tbsp. prepared mustard
    1 Tbsp. turmeric
Preparation
    Chop vegetables, then measure.
    Mix all together with salt. Let stand 2 1/2 hours.
    Do not drain.
    Boil for 10 minutes, or until done.
    Combine vinegar, sugar, flour, mustard and turmeric; let come to a boil.
    Pour over vegetable mixture; mix well.
    Pour into sterilized jars and seal.
    Yields 15 pints.
    Eat with meats.
