Holiday Cake Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (20 oz.) can sweet cherries
    1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. strawberry jello
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cherry jello
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1 c. chopped walnuts
    2 c. dry white cake mix
Preparation
    Drain fruits, reserving syrup.
    Add water to syrup to make 2 cups.
    Heat in a saucepan.
    Add jellos; stir to dissolve.
    Blend in cream cheese in blender on low speed.
    Add fruits and nuts. Add cake mix; stir all together.
    Pour in pan and chill.
    Freezes well.
