Divinity - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    1/2 c. white corn syrup
    1/8 tsp. salt
    2/3 c. water
    2 egg whites
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Boil sugar, syrup and water to fairly hard ball stage.
    Beat egg whites and salt in the meantime.
    Pour syrup slowly into egg whites with mixer going at moderate speed.
    Continue to beat until gloss disappears and candy is ready to drop.
    Add vanilla and nuts.
    Drop by teaspoonfuls onto wax paper.
