Coot In Cream Gravy With Green Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 coot, dressed
    1 lime
    1 tsp. salt
    3 stalks celery, sliced
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 c. sour cream
    2 c. green beans, cooked
Preparation
    Rub the birds with cut lime pieces and set in refrigerator overnight.
    Rinse and place in a pot.
    Add enough salted water to cover.
    Add celery and simmer until the meat is tender.
    Add garlic powder and mushroom soup with stirring.
    Stir in the sour cream and simmer 10 minutes longer.
    Add the green beans and serve.
