Jamaican Curry Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. chicken
    3 Tbsp. curry
    1/2 tsp. thyme
    1 c. onions
    2 tsp. garlic
    2 tsp. allspice
    1 c. diced potatoes
    3 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Cut chicken in small pieces (eg. thigh in two).
    Mix all ingredients.
    Heat oil in a large deep pot.
    Cook on high heat for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Reduce heat to medium and simmer, covered, for about an hour, stirring occasionally.
    Serve over hot rice.
