A+ Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. shortening
1 stick (1/2 c.) margarine
2 3/4 c. sugar
3 c. plain flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
5 eggs
1 Tbsp. vanilla

Preparation

Place all ingredients in mixer bowl.
Beat until very smooth. Bake in tube pan for 1 hour or until center tests done at 350\u00b0. Start in cold oven.
