Foolproof Pie Crust - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. flour
2 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 3/4 c. shortening
1 egg
1/2 c. water
1 Tbsp. water
Preparation

Stir together egg and water; then add the first 4 ingredients. Shape into balls (4 to 6, depending upon size of pie pan).
Chill in refrigerator for 15 or more minutes.
Roll out on floured wax paper.
Line pie pan with pastry.
Use for making your favorite baked pie.
