Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. cornmeal
    1/2 c. flour
    4 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. milk
    1 egg, beaten
    1/4 c. melted fat or oil
Preparation
    Mix cornmeal, flour, baking powder and salt.
    Mix together milk and egg; add fat.
    Add mixture to cornmeal mixture.
    Stir to mix. Grease baking pan.
    Fill half full.
    Bake in oven preheated 425\u00b0 for about 25 minutes or until browned.
