Icebox Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 qt. cucumbers, peeled and sliced
    2 medium onions, sliced
    1 tsp. celery seed
    2 Tbsp. pickle salt
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. vinegar
Preparation
    Put
    cucumbers\tand
    onion in bowl.
    Sprinkle salt over them and let stand 3 hours.
    Rinse in cold water.
    Add sugar, vinegar and seed.
    Put this over cucumbers and onions.
    Put in refrigerator
    overnight.
    Put
    in
    containers
    and in freezer. Thaw to eat.
