Cloud Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sifted flour
1 Tbsp. sugar
4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. shortening
1 egg
2/3 c. milk
Preparation

Sift together dry ingredients.
Cut in shortening until mixture forms coarse crumbs.
Combine egg and milk and add to flour mixture.
Stir until dough follows fork around bowl.
Turn onto lightly floured board and knead lightly, about 20 times. Roll dough 3/4-inch thick.
Cut with lightly floured 2-inch cutter, cutting straight down through the dough.
