Trade Wind Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. uncooked macaroni
1 Tbsp. margarine
2 Tbsp. brown sugar
1 (12 oz.) can luncheon meat
1 (15 1/2 oz.) can pineapple chunks
2 Tbsp. pineapple juice, drained from pineapple
1 c. cubed cheese
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
1/2 c. mayonnaise
1 (8 oz.) container sour cream or pineapple yogurt
1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation

Melt margarine with brown sugar in large skillet.
Add cubed lunch meat.
Cook and stir until golden brown.
Cook macaroni. Mix cooked meat, cooked macaroni, pineapple, cheese and green pepper in a large bowl.
Mix mayonnaise, sour cream (or yogurt), pineapple juice and salt together well.
Add to meat and macaroni mixture.
Mix well.
Chill thoroughly.
Serve on lettuce if desired.
