Angel Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. yeast
    5 c. self-rising flour
    1/2 c. warm water
    1 tsp. soda
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 c. shortening
    2 c. warm buttermilk
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in warm water; set aside.
    Mix flour, soda and sugar; cut in shortening.
    Add buttermilk and yeast and mix together.
    Let rise 10 to 15 minutes.
    Roll out and bake until done.
    Cook at 400\u00b0 until brown.
    This dough keeps for several weeks.
