Texas Hash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground chuck
    1 large onion, diced
    2 medium bell peppers, diced
    1 can stewed tomatoes
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. cooked rice
    1 can tomato sauce
Preparation
    In a large frying pan, saute onions and peppers in oil, about 5 minutes.
    Crumble ground beef into pan.
    Add salt and stir; when mixture begins to thicken, add stewed tomatoes and tomato sauce. Cook on slow heat; then add rice.
    Simmer, covered, about 10 minutes.
