Quick Muffins - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 egg
1/2 c. milk
1/4 c. melted shortening
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
Preparation

Break egg in bowl and stir with fork.
Stir in milk and salad oil (or shortening).
Sift flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. Stir until dry ingredients are moistened.
The batter will be lumpy.
Fill greased muffin cups 1/2 to 2/3 full.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
Makes 12 muffins.
