Brown Rice Pilaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c diced carrots
    1/2 c red bell pepper
    3 c water
    1 c uncooked brown rice
    1/2 tsp salt
    1/2 tsp dried oregano
    1/2 tsp dried thyme
    2 large garlic cloves, minced
Preparation
    Steam carrot and bell pepper, covered, 2 minutes or until crisp-tender. Drain well; set aside.
