A Very Different Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 large potatoes, peeled, cooked and thinly sliced
    2 Bermuda onions, thinly sliced
    2 lb. small curd cottage cheese
    1 pt. mayonnaise
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Layer potatoes, onion rings, salt, pepper and cottage cheese. Spread layer with mayonnaise.
    Repeat layers, ending with mayonnaise.
    Cover with plastic wrap and store in refrigerator for 3 days.
    Do not disturb!
