Chocolate Pecan Pie Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour
    2 c. sugar, divided
    1 c. butter (soft)
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. light Karo or dark corn syrup
    6 sq. semi-sweet chocolate or 1/2 bag chocolate chips, melted
    4 eggs, slightly beaten
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    2 1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Crust:
    Grease bottom and sides of 15 x 10 x 1-inch baking pan.
    (Be certain sides of pan are 1-inch high.)
    Beat flour, 1/2 cup sugar, butter and salt into coarse crumbs.
    Press firmly into pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
