Yum Yum Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 envelope gelatin (plain)
    1/2 c. water
    1 (No. 2) can crushed pineapple
    3/4 c. sugar
    juice of 1 lemon
    3/4 c. grated cheese
    8 oz. Cool Whip
Preparation
    Soak gelatin in water for 5 minutes.
    Heat contents of pineapple, sugar and lemon juice.
    Let come to a boil.
    Add gelatin and cool.
    When congealing, add cheese and Cool Whip. Pour into Pyrex dish and allow to set.
