Shrimp And Sausage Gumbo - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. regular long grain rice
    1 lb. hot italian sausage links
    2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    1/4 c. all-purpose flour
    2 med. onion (diced)
    1 can (14 1/2 oz.) chicken broth
    1 pkg. (10 oz.) frozen whole okra
    2 tsp. hot pepper sauce
    1/4 tsp. dried thyme
    1/4 tsp. dried oregano
    1 bay leaf
    1 lb. large shrimp, shelled and deveined
Preparation
    In 2 quart saucepan, prepare rice as labeled.
    Keep warm.
