Hogie'S Bacon Broil Snack - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 slices bread
    1 white or Vidalia onion
    6 Tbsp. sour cream (optional)
    1 lb. bacon
    6 slices American or any other cheese
    1 Tbsp. dried chives or green onion (optional)
Preparation
    Half cook bacon in a microwave or pan-fry.
    Lay out sliced bread on a cookie sheet.
    Place one slice of cheese on each slice of bread.
    Place sliced onion on cheese (to taste).
    Place 2 to 4 slices of bacon on onion.
    Place sheet under broiler until bacon is crisp (not burnt!).
    Top with sour cream and chives to taste.
