Chicken Tetrazzini - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 oz.) can sliced mushrooms
    4 Tbsp. butter
    3 Tbsp. flour
    2 c. chicken broth
    3/4 c. cream
    3 Tbsp. sherry (optional)
    1 Tbsp. parsley
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. nutmeg
    dash of pepper
    3 c. cubed cooked chicken or turkey
    1 c. grated Parmesan cheese
    8 oz. spaghetti or pkg. medium egg noodles
Preparation
    Heat oven at 350\u00b0.
    Cook spaghetti or egg noodles; drain and rinse.
    Saute mushrooms in butter.
    Stir in flour.
    Add chicken broth; cook, stirring constantly, until sauce is thickened, over medium heat.
    Remove from heat.
    Stir in cream, sherry, parsley, salt, nutmeg and pepper.
    Fold in chicken and cooked noodles. Turn mixture into a 13 x 9-inch
    pan.
    Sprinkle cheese over top. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes, or until heated through.
    Let stand 5 to 10 minutes before serving.
