Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 lb. ground beef
    1 large onion, chopped
    2 Tbsp. garlic salt
    1 tsp. ground oregano
    6 tsp. chili powder
    2 qt. canned tomatoes
    2 c. hot water
    salt to taste
    sugar to taste
Preparation
    Brown beef in pan.
    Drain grease.
    Add onion, oregano, garlic salt and chili powder.
    Mix well.
    Add tomatoes, water and salt. Bring to a boil.
    Constantly skim off grease.
    Lower temperature and continue cooking
    until chili reaches desired thickness.
    Add sugar to taste, if desired.
