Frosted Chews - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. light corn syrup
    1 c. peanut butter
    6 c. Kellogg's Special K cereal
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate morsels
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. butterscotch morsels, or 12 oz. pkg. semi-sweet morsels
Preparation
    Place sugar and corn syrup in medium-size saucepan and stir to combine.
    Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until mixture boils.
    Remove from heat.
    Add peanut butter.
    Mix well. Add Special K cereal.
    Stir until evenly coated.
    Press mixture evenly and firmly into buttered 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.
    Cool.
