Giblet Stuffing For Roast Turkey - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    giblets and shredded neck bone meats
    1 to 2 onions, chopped
    1 to 2 rolls Jimmy Dean sage sausage
    1 c. celery, diced
    1 c. chopped unpeeled apples (Jonathan or Red Delicious)
    1 c. chopped walnuts
    1 c. raisins
    1 or 2 pkg. seasoned stuffing mix
    1 c. chicken broth
    sprinkling of poultry seasoning or sage (optional)
Preparation
    Boil giblet and neck bone in lightly salted water until tender.
    (Pressure\tcook for about 15 minutes is better.) Cool and remove
    meat
    from neck bone, cut it and the giblets into very small pieces and set aside.
    Break up sausage roll(s) in a\tlarge heated
    skillet.
    Drain
    fat; add onions and celery. Saute lightly.
    Add giblets, apples, walnuts, raisins, stuffing
    mix and
    chicken
    broth.
    Mix
    well, heating it through. Allow to cool before stuffing.
    Do not stuff turkey until just before
    putting turkey
    in\toven.
    Rub
    salt
    inside cavities before stuffing.
