Taffy Apple Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large can crushed pineapple, drained (save juice)
    2 c. miniature marshmallows
    1 Tbsp. flour
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
    1 egg, beaten
    3/4 c. sugar
    8 oz. Cool Whip
    2 apples, chopped (unpeeled)
    1 c. Spanish nuts, chopped fine
Preparation
    Mix pineapple with marshmallows; set aside.
    Blend together flour, vinegar, egg, sugar and juice.
    Cook over medium heat until thickened; cool.
    Core and chop apples; add to pineapple and marshmallows.
    Add sauce and nuts.
    Fold in Cool Whip. Refrigerate for several hours before serving.
