Green Beans Oriental - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 cans cut green beans
    1 medium onion, sliced
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    1/3 c. flour
    2 c. milk
    3/4 c. shredded sharp Cheese
    1/8 tsp. Tabasco sauce
    2 tsp. soy sauce
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. coarse ground pepper
    1 tsp. Accent
    1 (8 oz.) can sliced mushrooms, drained
    1 (5 oz.) can water chestnuts, drained and sliced
    1/3 c. sliced almonds
Preparation
    Drain beans.
    Saute onion in butter until soft.
    Add flour and blend.
    Slowly add milk and cheese; cook until smooth and thick, stirring constantly.
    Add seasonings.
    Stir in cooked or canned beans, mushrooms and chestnuts.
    Sprinkle almonds over top and bake, uncovered, at 375\u00b0 until bubbly.
    Makes 8 to 10 servings. This can be made the day before, but don't put almonds on until you put it into the oven.
