Cream Cheese Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. butter, softened
1/2 c. shortening
1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
2 1/2 c. sugar
5 eggs
3 c. sifted cake flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. lemon flavoring
Preparation

Cream butter, shortening and cream cheese.
Gradually add sugar, beating at medium speed of an electric mixer until light and fluffy.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition. Combine flour, baking powder and salt.
Add creamed mixture alternately with buttermilk, stirring just until blended.
Stir in flavorings.
