Nuant(Nut Candy) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. honey
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    4 c. (16 oz.) walnuts, chopped coarsely
Preparation
    Have a cookie sheet or jelly roll pan ready.
    Put the honey and lemon juice in a large saucepan; bring to a boil over medium high heat, stirring occasionally.
    Add nuts; stir over medium heat for 10 to 12 minutes, until mixture is thick and a rich brown. Remove from heat.
    Moisten cookie sheet with water.
    Pour nut mixture onto sheet and spread with back of a wet wooden spoon or spatula.
    Let cool and harden.
    Break into bite size pieces. Store airtight with waxed paper in between layers.
    Makes 1 1/2 pounds.
