Southern Peanut Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 eggs
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1 1/2 c. dark corn syrup
1/4 c. butter, melted
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. chopped roasted peanuts
9-inch unbaked deep pastry shell
Preparation

Beat eggs until foamy.
Add sugar, syrup, butter, salt and vanilla.
Continue to beat until thoroughly blended.
Stir in peanuts.
Pour into unbaked pastry shell.
Bake in a 375\u00b0 oven for 50 to 55 minutes.
Serve warm or cold.
May be garnished with whipped cream or ice cream.
Makes 6 servings.
