Easy Pot Roast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 1/2 lb. roast meat
    1 stick butter
    2 big onions, chopped
    1 pkg. Lipton onion soup mix
    2 peppers, chopped
    1 can Hunt's tomato sauce
    salt, pepper, garlic and oregano (optional)
Preparation
    Melt butter and cook onions a little.
    Take all fat off of meat and wash it.
    Brown meat in melted butter.
    Add water, covering meat halfway.
    Add soup mix, peppers and tomato sauce to water.
    Bring to a boil.
    Reduce heat and cook for about 3 hours. Keep pan covered and turn meat every 1/2 hour.
    Serve with potatoes and carrots.
