Turketti Spaghetti Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. olive or salad oil
    1/2 lb. ground turkey
    1/2 medium onion, chopped
    1/3 c. chopped green pepper (optional)
    1 clove garlic, crushed
    1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes, cut into small pieces
    1 tsp. basil or oregano
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Add oil to 2-quart saucepan or 10-inch skillet.
    Set over low heat.
    Add turkey, onion and green pepper and cook, breaking apart with spoon, until turkey is crumbly and no longer pink (about 10 minutes).
    Stir in garlic, then tomatoes, basil, salt and pepper. Bring to a simmer and cook, covered, over lowest heat setting for 4 to 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Serve over hot, cooked spaghetti or linguine with grated Parmesan cheese.
