Coconut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. granulated sugar
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    3 egg yolks
    1 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. coconut
    2 tsp. baking powder
    2 c. flour
    3 egg whites, beaten
Preparation
    Cream sugar and butter.
    Add egg yolks, then add sifted flour and baking powder.
    Alternately with milk, add coconut; fold in egg whites.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Ice when cool.
