Sweet Potato Pudding(Century-Old Recipe) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. sweet potatoes
    1 c. cream
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 tsp. butter
    1 egg, well beaten
    1 1/2 tsp. ginger
    1 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. baking powder
    2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. seedless raisins
    1 1/2 c. shredded coconut
Preparation
    Boil or bake potatoes in skin to preserve flavor.
    Peel and mash potatoes and add other ingredients.
    Mix well and pour into pie shell.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Serve hot or cold.
