Icebox Cheese Wafers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. grated sharp cheese
    1/4 lb. butter, creamed
    1 1/2 c. sifted plain flour
    heavy pinch of cayenne pepper
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cream together the cheese, butter, salt and pepper; add flour. Make into a roll; wrap in waxed paper.
    Place in refrigerator. When ready to bake, slice into thin wafers.
    Bake in moderate oven for 8 to 10 minutes or until done.
    Makes 6 to 8 dozen wafers.
