Okra Gumbo - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pt. okra gumbo freezer mix, thawed
2 c. water
1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes, undrained
1 lb. medium-size fresh shrimp, peeled and deveined
salt to taste
hot cooked rice
Preparation

Combine mix, water and tomatoes in a Dutch oven; bring to a boil.
Cover and simmer 1 hour.
Add shrimp and simmer 20 minutes; salt to taste.
Remove bay leaves.
Serve over hot cooked rice. Yield: 6 servings.
