Sheer Joy Grits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. quick cooking grits
    4 Tbsp. butter or oleo
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. water
    1 tsp. sugar
    2 well beaten eggs
    1 1/2 c. milk
    3/4 c. grated Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Bring 1 1/2 cups water to boil.
    Add grits, 4 tablespoons butter, salt and sugar.
    Cook until liquid has been absorbed and grits cooked.
    Stir frequently.
    Add eggs, milk and cheese.
    Pour into 2-quart well-greased casserole.
    Top with additional cheese and butter.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 30 minutes.
    (I use garlic cheese.)
