Oven Fried Okra - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 c. okra, sliced
1 1/4 c. cornmeal
1/2 tsp. salt
pepper to taste
Preparation

Combine cornmeal, salt and pepper and set aside.
Wash okra and cut into 1/2-inch slices.
Dredge in cornmeal mixture.
Okra must be moist for cornmeal to coat well.
Spray cookie sheet with vegetable cooking spray.
Spread okra in single layer.
Bake at 450\u00b0 for 30 minutes or until crisp, stirring occasionally. Serves 6.
