Wassail - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 gal. apple cider or apple juice
1 cinnamon stick or 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. grated lemon peel (optional)
1/4 c. lemon juice
1 (32 oz.) can unsweetened pineapple juice
3 or 4 whole cloves
Preparation

Combine all spices together and put in cheesecloth.
Mix apple cider or juice and pineapple juice together.
Pour into large pot and simmer for about 20 to 30 minutes.
Serve hot.
Makes 1 gallon.
