Purple Jello Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium can crushed pineapple
    2 (3 oz.) pkg. lime jello
    1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
    1 (8 oz.) container Cool Whip
    2 stalks celery, chopped
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    2 c. cranberries
    1 orange
    1/2 c. sugar
Preparation
    Grind cranberries and whole orange.
    Add sugar and set aside. Heat pineapple and juice to boiling; add dry jello, stir until dissolved.
    Cool a little and add cream cheese.
    Stir until it melts.
    Add cranberry mixture, celery, nuts and Cool Whip.
    Stir until well blended.
    Pour into a 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Chill well.
