Bacon-Wrapped Water Chestnuts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 oz.) can water chestnuts, drained and cut in half
    soy sauce
    brown sugar
    5 slices bacon (each piece cut into 4 pieces)
Preparation
    Marinate water chestnuts in soy sauce for 30 minutes.
    Roll in brown sugar.
    Wrap in bacon pieces.
    Secure each with a toothpick. Bake at 400\u00b0 for 20 minutes in broiler pan so chestnuts will not sit in grease.
    Can be done ahead and reheated for 5 minutes at 350\u00b0 before serving.
    Serves 8.
