Broccoli Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head raw broccoli, chopped, including stalks)
    1 c. raisins
    1 medium to large purple onion, chopped
    1/2 lb. bacon, fried crisp and crumbled
    1 c. mayonnaise
    2 to 3 Tbsp. vinegar
    3 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    Wash broccoli and dry thoroughly.
    Chop in small pieces including stalks (peel the stalks).
    Add raisins, onion and bacon; mix well.
    Add sugar.
    Blend in mayonnaise and vinegar.
    Mix well. Best to make just before serving.
    Bacon will become soggy if made too far ahead!
