Marinated Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cans whole green beans
    1 can sliced water chestnuts
    1 large onion, sliced
    1 c. vinegar
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. celery seed
    1/2 c. salad oil
Preparation
    Drain beans and
    chestnuts.
    Mix
    with\tonions in large bowl. Combine vinegar,
    sugar, celery seed and oil.
    Bring to boil. Pour hot
    mixture
    over
    beans.
    Marinate for 24 hours. May be stored for 2 weeks.
