Strawberry Preserves - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. strawberries, capped and washed
    2 Tbsp. vinegar
    4 c. sugar
    paraffin, melted
Preparation
    Boil berries and vinegar in a saucepan for 3 minutes.
    Add sugar.
    Boil for 10 minutes.
    Pour into shallow container and let set overnight.
    Place preserves in jars the next morning, cover with melted paraffin and place lid on jars.
    Yields 2 1/2 pints.
